He was among the robots invited to a meeting by Makeshift to determine who might be potential Decepticon sympathizers, along with Hightail and Backfire. Unlike the other two, who apparently held some loyalty to Ransack, Armco was loyal to both Ransack and Override. Following this meeting, he was approached by the Autobot Prowl, who asked him to inform him if Makeshift-then employing the alias 777-came back with any information as to when Megatron might arrive on the planet. He would later be enlisted by Prowl to repair/replicate the broken Speedia Trophy, which Blurr had damaged in order to give Optimus Prime one of the Blades of Time.
