Brad Swaile is a Canadian voice actor whose notable roles include Nightcrawler on X-Men Evolution, Lan Hikari on MegaMan: NT Warrior, Rock on Black Lagoon, Quatre Raberba Winner on Gundam Wing, and Light Yagami on Death Note. In an interview with Trevor Devall, Swaile stated that he was a big fan of Transformers and was eager for the opportunity to work on the series, which is probably why he was cast as the whiny kid.[1]
