This article is about the Decepticon Godmaster. For Spike's brother, see Buster Witwicky (G1).

Buster is a human who joined the Decepticons as Godmaster with his elder brother, Hydra. Aside from Buster looking like a girl, they've got this kinda creepy-sexual thing going on. And they're never apart. Both, as vehicles, can combine into Darkwings.

A former deejay, Buster loves birds, even owning several. Reportedly he is able to convey his thoughts to them. What good this serves is anybody's guess.

Italian Tv dub name: Tornado

Super-God Masterforce cartoon

Voice Actor: Yoku Shioya (Japanese)

Hydra and Buster found their Godmaster transtectors in America, already in the form of airplanes.

They have near-instant healing abilities, literally in the blink of an eye. This healing seems to be more vulnerable to physical weapons than to energy—when Diver's axe was stuck in Buster's arm, the wound wasn't able to heal around it, and Buster remained in pain even after it was removed.

I want to tell you about the Transformers!

Super-God Masterforce

  • Buster (Godmaster Decepticon, 1988)
    • Japanese ID number: D-305
    • Accessories: Godmaster transtector, left & right "laser guns"
A redeco of the Nebulan Hi-Test, Buster transforms from an armored human into an engine block. His transtector robot body is a redeco of the Powermaster Dreadwind, transforming into an F-16 Fighting Falcon fighter jet. It is locked in jet mode until a Godmaster/Powermaster engine is placed into the engine socket on his back (or until you push down the relevant buttons in said socket). Once "unlocked", it can also form the back half of the "Darkwings" super-jet.
  • Darkwings (Multi-pack, 1988)
    • Japanese ID number: D-306
Hydra and Buster were both made available in a special multi-pack as well. Both toys are identical to their individual releases.
  • Buster Dreadwing (Godmaster Decepticon, 1988)
    • Accessories: Godmaster transtector, left & right "laser guns"
A Dreadwind-colored Buster was also made available in Japan via mail-order. He cost 1980 yen and four robot points.
