Exosuit

- Exo-suits are a technology from the Generation 1 continuity family.
An exo-suit is a mechanical suit like device that allows humans and other humanoids to venture into environments such as outer space, that would otherwise be hazardous and even fatal. Many models possessed arm blasters, thrusters and the ability to transform into a vehicle mode.

The first depiction of the exosuit was as worn by Spike Witwicky. Later, a similar suit was provided for Daniel Witwicky, which proved able to transform into an all-terrain vehicle. The Transformers: The Movie (1986)
This suit was subsequently enhanced via the Nebulan binary-bonding process to become Daniel's Headmaster suit to connect to Arcee. The Rebirth, Part 1
When preparing to sabotage Metamorpho, the Decepticon meteorite-turned-weapon, Daniel is forced to wear an older, non-metallic, model of spacesuit for the mission. He asks for an exosuit, but is told that it would be destroyed by Metamorpho's gravity-warping field. Approach of the Demon Meteorite
