May not be all that curvaceous, but sure plays up the glasses fetish.

Small Foot Battle the Go-MobileWoman is a traveler from another dimension who has taken the form of an Autobot and infiltrated their ranks in the hopes of finding the solution to a problem that plagues her home. She is an adventurous young mechanoid, but frequently gets in over her head.

Fiction[]

Timelines[]

In a universe at war, Small Foot was one of a faction known as the Guardians. She'd left her remote mining home to take up arms after being inspired by the words of Leader-1, whom she optimistically hoped to personally protect. In time, she'd fight on both Gobotron and Earth! She was dispatched on numerous missions alongside Road Ranger, and the pair eventually came to think of one another as siblings. High Noon During her adventures, Small Foot often strayed from orders, earning her many lectures from her superiors. She also at some point encountered The BuggyMan, but was left unimpressed by the Renegade's lackluster combat capabilities. Sunrise

When Small Foot's universe was threatened by an oncoming Cataclysm, the Guardians allied with their Renegade rivals to try to find a way to avert the destruction of their reality. A human doctor used his Dimensional Interfacer to determine that another reality populated by robotic life forms had begun to overwrite their universe. Small Foot was selected to be part of Path Finder's mission to explore this other level of existence, and was modified to resemble one of the native Autobots.

The team was intercepted in transit and instead ended up in Axiom Nexus, home of the Transcendent Technomorphs. After questioning, the team members put in a cell where they soon learned that the TransTechs had opted not to allow them to return to their home reality, but that they would have to remain in Axiom Nexus. Withered Hope The team was forced to queue for hours, Transcendent: Part 1 before being processed and tagged with ID bolts during which time Bug Bite somehow escaped. Small Foot set about reading the acclimation literature and was weirded out by Road Ranger's hangups about robots. As they needed a base of operations, Small Foot went to check out the Widow's Cafe Cybertronian and organized some rooms to stay, though Crystal Widow was not able to give her good news on the "getting out of Axiom Nexus" front.

The next day, while the other GoBots went to find Bug Bite and a way out of the city, Small Foot remained at the cafe to use the city's computer network to gather information and to listen in on bar chatter. Path Finder returned sometime later, having failed to fly out of the city, and joined Small Foot in having another unsuccessful attempt at getting help from Crystal Widow to return to their mission. She was still there with Path Finger and Road Ranger when General Demolishor of the Military Police and Inspector Airazor of the Axiom Nexus Security Administration arrived to arrest Escargon. Believing the GoBots to be associated with Escargon, Demolisher attempted to arrest them, even going so far as to threaten Road Ranger, which almost caused Small Foot to attack the TransTech, but Airazor's legalese prevented Demolisher from arresting them all.

While Path Finder and Road Ranger went to find the other GoBots, Small Foot tried to learn more about the passes Escargon had stolen, which turned out to be no-questions-asked tickets out of Axiom Nexus, and ended up trying to convince Crystal Widow to stop wallowing in self-pity. Small Foot soon caught up with the other GoBots to find that Demolisher had taken Treds prisoner in attempt to get the passes which he believed the GoBots to have bought from Escargon. The team tracked Demolisher to the Heap and fought the TransTech with the help of Crystal Widow. Fortunately Cheetor arrived and arranged for Demolisher's arrest before the fight could end badly for the GoBots. Airazor presented Path Finder with the five passes she'd taken from Escargon, and though Small Foot attempted to volunteer to stay in Axiom Nexus so that Crystal Widow could use one of them, Crystal Widow turned down the offer. "No! NO! How will these redecos ever come out if the Collector's Club is shutting down?!"

The team used the passes and eventually arrived in their target reality, where they tracked down Bug Bite in time to find out that more GoBots had begun moving over to the new universe. Withered Hope Bug Bite escaped them again however, and Small Foot was left with trying to lift her downtrodden teammates' spirits. They were soon joined by three more Go-Bots: Admiral Man-O-War, Rest-Q, and The BuggyMan. The later quickly pinpointed the location of the Autobots' base, and the team mobilized to make contact with the local mechanical life-forms. Sunrise

The group travelled all day without incident, eventually pulling over into a stretch of farmland to recharge. After finding that Road Ranger had sprung a leak while hauling Treds, Small Foot volunteered to tow the tank for the rest of the journey. Road Ranger turned down the offer, insisting that he'd be fine after some rest.

Small foot dozed off, and in her dreams had a premonition: she saw an entity made out of the void itself, drawing her allies into its maw. The abyssal being then gazed back at her, waking Small Foot with a start. Though most of her team was still asleep, Small Foot noted The BuggyMan's absence, and went about to look for him. As she followed his trail, she encountered a luminous 'botdescending from the sky. Assuring her that he was a friend, Solarbot showed Small Foot another vision, this time of his home world, which was also being threatened with annihilation. She emerged from this vision back at her camp, and was left wondering if her previous awakening was simply a dream-within-a-dream. Come next morning, the group resumed driving, soon crossing path with Tracks. Thanks to an early warning from The BuggyMan, they were able to avoid a confrontation with the negative-polarity Cybertronian.

As she approached the Autobots' base, Small Foot was unnerved by the total radio silence. The others agreed with her that it seemed suspicious to not be receiving any kind of signal, and the group decided to approach the base stealthily. They were nonetheless ambushed by the evil Autobot Stepper and his partner, Nebulon. Small Foot and her allies attempted to fight back with their built-in weaponry, only to find that Stepper was invulnerable to laser-fire. Thankfully, Solarbot stepped in and shielded Small Foot from being blasted point-blank, allowing Treds and Road Ranger to overpower their adversary. Then, a voiced warned the group not to move... Generation One[]

  • G1 GoBots (Multi-pack, 2004)
Japanese ID number: 84
Small Foot was only available in an e-Hobby-exclusive 6-pack with Bad Boy, Bug Bite, Path Finder, Road Ranger, and Treds. She is a redeco of the Mini Vehicle Gears and transforms into a racing pickup truck of an indeterminate model.
This mold is also used by Pick-Up, and was the basis for the 1986 retool Swerve.

Notes[]

Smallfoot01

Nice rack.

  • The e-Hobby Gears redeco was clearly intended to be the Small Foot character from the Tonka GoBots line. Her name does not appear in any of the final product material; it only appeared in an early Photoshopped promotional image on the e-Hobby website. The individual toys' names were dropped when Takara became concerned over how rival company Bandai might react to the names... even though Bandai had little to no legal standing on the matter, as the names were granted by Tonka—now a Hasbro-owned sub-company—and the GoBots fiction had never been used by Bandai. Apparently, Takara felt any trouble over the set was not worth it.
  • Of course, any ambiguity over her identity was moot once Fun Publications took the concept and ran with it.
