—An arrogant Galvatron replies to Optimus
Galvatron was a U.S. military model, developed by KSI. It was infected by Megatron's mind (which was known only by Brains), so despite all the efforts of people to give it the appearance just like Optimus Prime, the drone continued to recreate Megatron.
After the Autobots' invasion in KSI, Galvatron was activated, along with Stinger, but it turned out that people are not able to manage them. The prototype clashed with Prime, and he learned that Galvatron is actually a reborn Megatron. Because of the intervention of Lockdown, Galvatron was withdrawn for inspection. In KSI's facility in China, Galvatron activated himself and commandeered all of other fifty drones, made them as his new Decepticon army, and went to Hong Kong to find the Seed. But he almost did not participate in the commencement of the battle, which allowed Galvatron to survive. However before he departed, he made a quiet vow that he and Optimus would meet again.

- In a shot where Galvatron's face is about to be altered, one screen shows what looks like a CGI model of Megatron from the first movie instead. This may be a reference that at that point, Galvatron was in the same situation Megatron had been in: Somewhere freezing cold, with a bunch of scientists walking around him.
- The hole in Galvatron's chest may be a reference to the first film where Sam Witwicky used the Cube to kill him in his Megatron incarnation. Or it simply could be a gaping hole where his spark should be.
