- Grindcore is a character from the IDW continuity portion of the Generation One continuity family.
Not much is known yet about Grindcore, but he transforms into a double barreled tank and has a badass name.

Grindcore was a member of the crew aboard the original Ark spacecraft and subsequently was lost in the Benzuli Expanse.
Millions of years later, after Cyclonus secured the Nega-Core and activated its guardian, Grindcore initiated the Expansion with Nemesis Prime and the rest of the Dead Universe crew. Spotlight: Cyclonus
Later, Grincore participated on the attack on Earth with Straxus. His job was setting up a Space Bridge while Straxus operated an energon drill. Spotlight: Doubledealer He and Straxus were later slagged by Sideswipe in the Jiangxi Province, China. Spotlight: Sideswipe
