Major Bludd participated in Cobra's first major public action, a Battle Android Trooper attack on Washington, D.C.. Later, he, Doctor Mindbender, and the Baroness greeted Destro and his Iron Grenadiers on their arrival to Cobra Island. Bludd suspected that the Baroness was particularly happy to see the arms dealer. When the Transformers Cobra had enslaved regained their free will, Bludd attempted to flee the island in a Rattler - unfortunately for him, however, the aircraft he chose was actually Thundercracker, who transformed and presumably mangled Bludd to death.
