Mark Bristow is a former colorist for IDW Publishing and has worked on their Megatron Origin and Beast Wars: The Ascending miniseries. A fan-turned-professional, he is also recognized as an accomplished and talented kitbasher.

Among the fandom he is better known for his internet handle, Bodycount, and his notoriously abrasive personality. A fan of the Unicron Trilogy series who loudly disparages pretty much everything else (often apropos of nothing), Bristow is very prone to citing his own opinions as fact and acting aggressive towards opposing views. This lack of composure has gotten him banned from effectively every major online Transformers community, including TFW2005, The Allspark, TFArchive, TFans and Teletraan I. Which hasn't stopped him from trying to creep back in under different aliases multiple times (though he's always fairly easy to spot). He's also infamous for claiming to have access to "inside information" (upcoming Hasbro products, in particular), which has been proven (and confirmed) to be a combination of genuine inside contacts and educated guessing. Mark has since retired from the Transformers hobby and community, much to the pleasure of the larger fandom. He can be found terrorizing the Silent Hill and DC communities, as he once terrified this one.

He is also loudly liberal and straight edge. Mark enjoys Shortpacked, despite the opinions of the creator of said comic.
