The lack of noses in Transformers animated is not quite as noticeable as the overlarge chins. However, Since you have somehow gotten to this page I am sure you are one of those people who have noticed...
Or you simply saw a page which links to this page.
Any way.
Due to the anatomy of most transformers in Animated they seem not to have real noses but simply have helmets/Faceplates which curve to represent them.

The technorganic transformers such as Waspinator and Blackarachnia have noses, however it makes Blackarachnia incredibly hard to look at. Also if they have shades for eyes like Prowl or Jazz then it isn't possible for their helmets to curve in like the others so they actually have noses. Ninjas are just that cool.
It's worth noticing Prowl in particular could smell the garbage in "Garbage In, Garbage Out".
Speaking of ninjas, for no known reason Oil Slick's original picture has a huge nose and doesn't even have shade-like eyes. His face seen in "TransWarped" was different and looks more like Lockdown's which meant he had a smaller nose.
Humans for some reason all have noses, as does Sari who is only part human.
[edit] Possible explanations
- Basically the lack of noses may be due to the usual artwork for anime and could seem like a regular thing they do in Japanese cartoons this is also one of the reasons for the overlarge Chins
- One more explanation is that noses sometimes make transformers look really ugly see above picture this was seen in Ironhide who had a pretty big nose.
