The Photon Burst Rifle is a battle rifle that fires three shot bursts. It has a scope that aids in it's accuracy at long range and allows for sniping if a Null Ray is not available but is also an effective medium range weapon. It's three shot burst allows you to dish out damage without wasting up too much ammo like it's rapid-fire counterpart the Neutron Assault Rifle.

- The Photon Burst Rifle is very similar the the Battle Rifle of the Halo series. Just like the battle rifle, it shoots in bursts, does slightly more damage than the assault rifles, and has a scope. This one appears to have a little bit of recoil when zoomed in, but it does not affect accuracy a lot.
