The name or term Scrapper refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Scrapper (disambiguation).
Scrappers are Autobot/Decepticon drone units from the live-action movie continuity family.

Not Spoons.

Scrapper units are machines that convert into forklifts. Both the Autobot and Decepticon armies make use of these drones, which are small and quick fighters, but physically weak, making them more annoying than deadly. You could more easily called them Decepticon Scout Troopers.

Scrapper head

Scrapper units can be either Autobot (top) or Decepticon (bottom)

Scrappers on each side are differentiated by little more than the make of their noggins; Autobot versions use a facemask-with-visor model, while Decepticons have a lens-head.

Scrapper drones have equal Attack & Defense skills, with a Speed boost.

Transformers: The Game (console)

The weakest of the Transformer drone-models, Scrappers are light on their feet and vicious melee combatants when up close. They are armed with small rocket launchers, but they don't use them often. They primarily show up to harass the Autobots in Tranquility, but they also arrive in vast numbers to tackle Megatron in Mission City. To defeat them, follow the following tips: SMASH! SHOOT! WILD ATTACKS! They just go boom in one or two hits.

Aside the facial differences, Decepticon Scrappers are dark orange while Autobot versions are yellow.

  • The Scrapper drone was one of two types of drone whose names were put up for voting on the game's web-site (which would seem to indicate that they're not getting toys, the other being Mixmaster). The other names came from past Transformers characters, including
  • Dirt Boss appears to be based off of Scrapper's body design.
