Skyfall is an Autobot from the Cybertron portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.

Skyfall knows he's different from his fellow Velocitronians. He's un-engaged by their need for speed, and so he has taken up the role of a lone explorer, charting distant star systems in his ship, the Flash Frenzy. He knows he must be far older than most, if not all, of his peers, though he shows no sign of age. But most of all, he has the inescapable feeling that he's missing a clue to some lost, legendary past to which he deeply believes he was linked, a mystery that haunts him more than any other.

Another of Skyfall's enigmas is his strange ability. When his life is threatened or when he's under stress, Skyfall involuntarily envelopes his body in an impenetrable forcefield. The universe must be looking out for him...

He really wishes he wasn't constantly being drawn into grand adventures. He hates those.

Skyfall came to Cybertron looking for answers to his past. Instead, he found Dark Scorponok. After he escaped from the zombie, he was taken in by Ramjet, who claimed to know him. When Vector Prime came to destroy Ramjet, despite Skyfall protecting him with his force field powers, Ramjet was lost between the fabric of space. Before Vector Prime departed, he instructed Sentinel Maximus to guard Skyfall with his life.

Later, Sentinel Maximus took Skyfall to fight Unicron. There, Skyfall met a kindred spirit in a Decepticon named Landquake. The surrounding battle was so intense that they disappeared in an explosion.

ClassicsEdit

The explosion somehow transported Skyfall and Landquake to an alternate universe. After attempting to protect some humans from Megatron, the Autobots arrived, and after the subsequent battle, Skyfall was carried off by the Autobots and Landquake by the Decepticons. The Autobots took Skyfall with them (babysat by Cliffjumper) to South America, where more fighting happened. After falling into a cave, Skyfall was reunited with Landquake, where they and Cliffjumper found a mysterious image and a new friend, Breakaway.

Skyfall is a redeco of the Energon Sky Shadow/Terradive mold, transforming into an A-10 bomber plane. He is also capable of forming a limb to any combination of Energon-style combiners.

Skyfall was the first exclusive toy from the Fun Publications Transformers Collectors' Club, given away free as an "early bird" to people who registered before a certain date. He was later made available for sale on their web-store and at BotCon.
