Takedown is the leader (or "foreman") of the Construction Patrol. He sees the way he can mix and combine materials to make a strong foundation as a metaphor for how he gets his team to work together — and for how to forge a lasting peace. Unfortunately, though a brilliant organizer, his command of tactics is weak.[1]


IDW comics continuity

Takedown was one of the legions of Dead Universe Micromasters who pursued Hardhead and Nightbeat on Gorlam Prime. He survived to pursue the Autobots into the planet's subterranean caverns, and helped the Jhiaxus-possessed Nightbeat dig out after Hardhead triggered a cave-in. Takedown then confronted Hardhead with Nightbeat and a small group of Micromasters, and was unable to stop Hardhead from killing Nightbeat and escaping into the Dead Universe. Spotlight: Hardhead


Generation One

Takedown transforms into a red cement mixer. He was only available with in a four-pack with his teammates Crumble, Groundpounder and Neutro.
