Just musing aloud- why is it that with all TF websites competing for traffic that no one has created a site that's just a shell over the usenet att group? Something easier to use than google, but with all the obvious pluses of usenet? (i.e. permanence?) The success of 2channel style boards- (old messages fall into oblivion, one-click posting, pure text) prove that the whole "M.O." of usernet remains attractive to people. -Derik 23:38, 12 August 2008 (UTC)

I found an old essay on my hard drive that states the launching date of ATT as September 23, 1993. This article says September 11. Which one is correct?--Nevermore 22:42, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
