Derrick Wyatt said at BotCon that Ironhide's voice was an emulation of a particularly chirpy old southern guy PBS/NPR antiques/homes road-show-type host whose name/show escapes me at the moment. Inquiries are forthcoming. --M Sipher 18:08, 31 May 2008 (UTC)

• This Ironhide is heavily based on his G1 self. However, In Animated, Ironhide is bigger, taller, faster, stronger, and way much younger than his G1 counterpart. In addition, he's also mischievous; whereas the G1 version, he is much more serious.
