Talk:Megatron (G1)/toys
From Teletraan I: The Transformers Wiki
Hi guys.
In addition to my first contribution a while back (the Masterpiece Megs write-up), I've just added a bunch of new stuff I noticed wasn't in there, like Sport Label and also the nontransforming Megatron gunmode accessories included with Masterpiece Prime and Reissue Starscream. I know they're not actual transforming toys per se, but my argument is that:
a] They're official Takara products explicity identified as Megatron, and:
b] since we list nontransforming representations of Megs in robot mode (revoltech, heroes etc.), it'd be kinda "form-ist" to omit these. Plus, they do technically have moving parts. Kinda...
Hope you guys find it all kosher.
Cheers, PacifistPrime.
I removed the bit about MP05 not being able to spin at the elbows; the picture RIGHT NEXT TO IT proves otherwise. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 74.206.8.167 (talk • contribs).

[edit] The looks on Henkei Megatron
Saw it today, and it has a dull white repaint, save for some silver which probably flakes. It's looks very bland and metaphorically cheap; people are better off with the American version. --akindofdrifter
[edit] Missing Image
Image:R heromegatron016.jpg is a dead, red link, probably deleted for poor quality. Anyone have a replacement?--Apcog 05:00, 24 August 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Heads up....
Guys, the link for G2 Megatron's voice clip says "sorry, this file is no longer available". Does anyone have a new one to upload?
- I actually still have the sound clip I uploaded in the first place. Any suggestions for a good site to host it on? - Semysane 05:16, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Masterpiece Megatron
Although this technically has nothing to do with the wiki, the Toys R Us website lists Masterpiece Megatron among its available products. it's listed at $169.99, and (no joke) recommended for ages 6 to 12! Xeno the Hedgehog 14:42, 27 April 2009 (UTC)
