Talk:Peter Cullen

Canadian actor? Okay, from what I read Cullen was born in Montreal and started his career there. But doesn't he live in the US and most of his work was done while in the US? I think we should refer to him as an American actor, or else we're going to have vaguely ridiculous things like having to refer to Scott McNeil as an Australian actor just because he was born there. --FFN 02:18, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

Man, I hope he completes that autobiography he's occasionally mentioned working on in interviews. The 1956 birth year makes no sense, and the timeline of him and his brother becoming Americans is really sketchy. -Rotty 18:55, 7 July 2007 (UTC)

According to IMDB, Cullen was born in 1944, not 1956. He also graduated from the National Theatre School of Canada in 1963, which would've made him only 7 years old according to his 1956 birthdate... Not saying the IMDB date is true, but the 1956 one isn't either... --Detour 14:52, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

Why in the hell is there a toys section here? That indistinct lump doesn't look a goddamn thing like Cullen. --M Sipher 06:49, 15 June 2008 (UTC)

I wouldn't be against seeing it moved to a "Trivia" section with disclaimers about how we don't know what Hasbro was actually thinking... but seriously, Cullen's cowboy hat is iconic enough for him that I think it's a very reasonable connection to make. - Jackpot 07:01, 15 June 2008 (UTC)
What the hell is a Fiction section doing on Furman's article? We got a toy with Cullen in it.
If youw ant to move it to trivia, tha'ts fine by me- it certainly belongs in the article somewhere. Here's my question- if you could explicitly confirm the sculpted figure /was/ supposed to be Peter Cullen, do you think it'd belong in Trivia or a Toy section? -Derik 07:09, 15 June 2008 (UTC)
With explicit confirmation, I'd say Toy. But I think the lack thereof is exactly what Siph's getting at. - Jackpot 07:13, 15 June 2008 (UTC)
Oh, well, that's fine. In fairness to... me... I thought I'd read that it was explicitly confirmed. (And frankly I'm surprised it hasn't been, it seems like something someone would have asked at Botcon.) I shall mve it appropriately. -Derik 07:23, 15 June 2008 (UTC)
