Talk:Really Big Fight at the End

From Teletraan I: The Transformers Wiki

[edit] Article title

1) The term came from Kendrick Kerwin Chua.

2) It's RBFATE - Really Big Fight At The End.

3) While the standardized structure of a typical G1 cartoon episode is certainly worth noting, I would question whether this particular term has seen much use in the fandom since the waning days of ATT. -- Repowers 16:01, 8 November 2007 (UTC)

I do see it occasionally, so there is probably more than historic interest. After all, the newer shows do tend to follow similar patterns from time to time. -Autobus Prime 16:04, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
Er, if you hadn't created the other article, we could have moved it...--RosicrucianTalk 16:13, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
Oops. It's been a while since I edited much here...-Autobus Prime 16:20, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
S'okay. Once an admin sees the tags they'll put two and two together and finish the move. We've also got two more than we used to, so that should actually be pretty quick.--RosicrucianTalk 16:24, 8 November 2007 (UTC)

I realize I just moved it to RBFATE, but I wonder if this (and EI/AD) should maybe be moved to non-acronym locations (with redirects from the acronyms in place, of course). --Steve-o 20:29, 9 November 2007 (UTC)

I never knew this article existed until I saw someone add to it today; looking at it now, I agree with Rob. I really don't think it belongs here: however cool Kendrick is in general, I have never seen this phrase used except on ATT, usually years ago, and always by people who were already friends with him and referring back to his REALLY old episode reviews. Dave Van Domelen has had a more active and continuous presence in the fandom with his nonstop toy reviews that usually begin big discussions, yet I don't think we would entertain a suggestion that the Wiki have an article about "Strongly Recommended."

I mean, what is this article REALLY about? That an action / adventure fictional storyline has story-event climaxes? Rule of thumb: if it goes without saying, don't say it. --Thylacine 2000 20:16, 11 August 2008 (UTC)

[edit] List of Episodes

Recommend adding list of episodes that clearly fit this formula, from as many diverse franchises as possible. JW 16:36, 8 November 2007 (UTC)

Sounds like a good idea to me. I'll be the first to bite.--General Cicadacon 19:44, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
