Do we have a blank mockup format buried somewhere in the style guide we can copy from? I tend to have to go back and track don an entry with a similar 'scope' tot he one I'm looking for to nab it. I know Sunstreaker is the template for a comprehensive character, but do we have a template for 'appears in 1 continuity, and two toys' or 'appears in multiple continuities, no toys'?
Damnit, do we even have a formatting standard for WHERE THEY APPEARED? If I have an entry for Doc, do I have to work in at some poitn he appeared only in the Sunbow cartoon, or is there a standard point to stick 'Secret of Omega Supreme, Sunbow'? Generation One continuity is REALLY VAGUE, it's so broad. (Complicated, doubtless, by the way G1 mirrors itself.)
Just- FIRST APPEARANCE, SCOPE OF APPEARANCES (1 ep 1 continuity, or frequently across may continuities, and list which ones?) -150.253.70.55 20:28, 5 April 2006 (UTC)
I'm having a hard time figuring out exactly what you're asking here... no, there's no "set" template for a character that has X number of continuity appearance but Y number of toys. There's a near-infinite number of combinations involved with that.
Re-read the suggested style guide, compare it to Sunstreaker's entry. Read a few others, like, say, Jetfire (G1), or Discharge (G1) or Stampy (BWN). I wouldn't think this is difficult at all.
FICTION section, split up into continuities (Generation 1 Cartoon, Marvel Comics, Dreamwave Comics, etc), then TOY section (sub-section only by line or by name if the character takes a new one with their new body within a series, as Smokescreen (UT) does). Then external links.
