[edit] Henkei Thrust edit

I think it was much better when it said better than. It was simpler, gave the point, and was a good good laugh. I don't have either Thrust but at least by the looks, if base means main body, they are all identical to Ramjet, aside from the fact that Gentei! Thrust can have downward poiting wings. I wanted to mention though I noticed it said the wings pointed downward to be more show accurate. But if you look caredfully in the show, Thrust generally has upward pointing winds. It just looks like they're down because like the other cone heads, his wings happen to be drawn as hanging onto his hips at a higher point on the wings, making them lower overall. What do you guys think on that?--Black kille 05:20, 4 May 2009 (UTC)

Why are you striking through the base is "the same as"? The base is virtually unchanged since day one! The wing molds are what have changed, not the base of the figure.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Juise (talkcontribs).

I think that originally, the line read "Thrust's base is the same as his Botcon counterpart." I then (out of spite towards organisations that turn must-have missing team members into achingly rare exclusives) changed it to read "the same as better than", because the Henkei version IS improved in many small ways, as far as I could see. Then someone changed it to something else, it got tweaked at least twice more, and the passasge started to lose cohesion. Too many cooks, etc.

Definitely different. The VTOL engines of the Gentei! Thrust are removable, while BotCon version are not. Not to mention the tail wings. --TX55TALK 05:00, 22 April 2009 (UTC)

The wings are not part of the figures base! Look at the verbage used "Thrust's base is the same as his BotCon counterpart. A retool of the Classics Ramjet toy (itself a retool of Classics Starscream)" All they changed is the wings, if wings were part of the characters base that statement would be completely wrong! Not to mention what the heck is a "Gentei! Gentei!"? Its Henkei which means transform in Japanese google it!—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Juise (talkcontribs).
"what the heck is a "Gentei! Gentei!", "Google it!"? *A-hem*, you need to roam this site more often. --TX55TALK 14:22, 22 April 2009 (UTC)

If I show you and order form from the distributor that list the gambos as Henkeis will you stop ruining my post?—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Juise (talkcontribs).

I didn't ruin your post. I saw the form, too. The site just use the term "Gentei!", plus, the logo on the package uses "Gentei!" as well.
And please, remember to sign your post on talk pages, thank you. --TX55TALK 11:44, 23 April 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Reissue

I was looking at the pages for Skywarp, Thundercracker, and Dirge, and I noticed that neither Thrust nor Ramjet have any info about where their Collector's Edition reissues were released--Black kille 20:38, September 2, 2009 (UTC)
