Transformer Big War

Transformer Big War is a 3-issue manga series produced in 1987 as a follow-up to the 5-issue The Transformers manga series drawn by Ban Magami. Like its precursor, Big War features the cast of characters from Transformers 2010 and, obviously, takes place in the title year. Big War is part of the animated series continuity.
The storyline, in a nutshell, is that Galvatron and the Decepticons kidnap a scientist named Dalton and force him to build insidious weapons for their evil schemes. The Autobots engage in a big war to rescue the scientist, as both sides deploy nearly all their combiners in the fray.
