[edit] Madman Headmasters
I noticed you had asked for this at Seibertron, but it didn't seem that anybody there actually replied to your request. I asked a friend and he says when you play the first episode of Disc 1, after the opening titles sequence you get the episode title, then the episode itself. Does that help? I assume this means Madman's set is almost exactly the same is Metrodome's. --FFN 11:54, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
- Just a further note on this Chris in case you didn't catch it. I bought the Madman set and apart from properly synching up the English tracks to the two episodes that were way off, everything else is the same. Right down to other episodes' English tracks being 'slightly' off and (more annoyingly) the incorrect subs popping up in "Find MegaZarak's Weak Spot!!". You'd think two years would have been enough time to correct this gaffe, but there you go! --Jon T 08:44, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Titan Transformers comic
Do you know if any scans of the Titan Transformers comic are availiable on the Interwebs? I haven't found anything past issue 2 since Demonoid took down their tracker. --FortMax 17:05, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Various protected userpages
Could you delete the protected User and User Talk pages owned by the various trolls and possibly add the pages to the title blacklist? I don't really like the idea of those pages being kept around for posterity. (That rant by Walky's internet stalker on Walky's talk page is the exception to this, of course) --FortMax 20:19, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Crazy Idea
We've been doing stuff for the Energon cartoon called a 'Pain count' where we list stupid cliches and number how many times they happen in the episode. I've proposed doing the same thing for Beast Machines, with an idea from Walky being 'Episode jerk', where we list the character in the episode that the writers decided should be a jerk this week. I propose we do a Pain count for the japanese G1 episodes, as well as a 'Bizzarro RMT 1 dialogue' where we list particularly weird and amusing lines from the dubs. What do you think (because I think you're one of the only ones here with the DVDs...) --FFN 17:10, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
- I would totally do the RTM 1 dub stuff, but I could only do that for HM, since the MF and V DVDs don't have the dubs on 'em. But then, that involves actually having to, y'know, watch them. :) I don't think I'd be much good at doing a "pain count" for the eps, though... it doesn't seem to come through in subs the way the Energon dub stuff does. Or I'm entirely too charitable towards them. Pick one. :) - Chris McFeely 17:22, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
- Well, okay, amusing dub stuff is more than enough :D --FFN 17:26, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Title blacklisting trolls
Could you add the various user and dalk pages owned by trolls and their socks to the title blacklist? That way the pages won't exist and they can't recreate them. --FortMax 20:24, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Wreckage, Crosshairs-1 and 71.62.192.242
71.62.192.242 is signing his posts as Crosshairs-1. Crosshairs-1 is a user that Walky banned at the end of February:
- 20:56, 28 February 2008 ItsWalky (Talk | contribs) blocked Crosshairs-1 (Talk | contribs) with an expiry time of 3 months (account creation disabled) (Inserting false information)
His ban is not yet up, and thus he is evading it by posting without logging in. Hope this helps.--RosicrucianTalk 20:29, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Firebomber and whatnot
Maybe you could delete the image to discourage the guy to come back with IP addresses to just revert his reverts? --Detour 10:51, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

Seems he'd rather edit war on Scourge than talk things out. Getting a little ridiculous.--RosicrucianTalk 23:57, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
- True, but aside from his stubborn attitude about the point, is there anything about the factoid per se that makes it unworthy of inclusion? I mean, maybe it'd require rephrasing, but total removal...? I'm just curious about the rationale, since the this guy isn't arguing in a fashion that seems likely to bring it up.--Apcog 00:02, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Monaco skin
Hi Chris -- I posted on the Community portal last week about moving this wiki over to the new Monaco skin. It's had some discussion, but nothing so far from the admins. What do you think? -- Danny

- With new Animated episodes SO very close here in the UK, my window-for-being-spoiled is rapidly decreasing, and I'm growing exponentially enraged every time someone tries to chuck a brick through it. - Chris McFeely 22:13, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
- I dunno about you, but certain users are starting to really rub me the wrong way with the constant edit warring on the Animated cast page and the constant calling us "hypocrites" when we don't let them add the maximum amount of their Dubai-leaked info to the page. It's like now that we've set limits on what can appear there, they're bound and determined to do the letter of the law so they can still look like savvy experts for having seen the leaked episodes.--RosicrucianTalk 14:03, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
Thank you for clearing out the delete queue! It gives me a warm fuzzy feeling!-Derik 17:38, 16 June 2008 (UTC)

Do you like Transformers Animated?

- I ain't nobody's servant. Mr. Serious
- Keep up that attitude. It'll go over real well when they ask you why you're reverting repeated attempts to fix your mistakes.--RosicrucianTalk 14:48, 28 June 2008 (UTC)
- For Christ's sake. I choose not to go near the recent changes page to read up on the backstory of this and just give him a non-permanent ban, because I'm not hanging around here today on account of how I'll wind up having the Animated finale spoiled. Another admin can permaban 'im, if it warrants it, which it appears to. - Chris McFeely 16:11, 28 June 2008 (UTC)
- I'm cool with it. If you whack those three images he kept untagging, we'll actually get the recent changes page back.--RosicrucianTalk 16:12, 28 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Headmasters/Masterforce/Victory/Zone Audio Commentaries
Since I may never get to hear the audio commentaries on Metrodome's Headmasters, Masterforce, and Victory (and Zone) DVDs (which I'm sure I would very much like to hear), would you be so kind as to describe the stuff you talked about in each episode you did the audio commentary for? I'm not asking you to repeat everything you said, just a few summaries of most/all that you talked about in each commentary. Sabrblade 23:22, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
- Briefly, then. For Headmasters, I just did the first three episodes, so the commentaries kinda ran together as a general overview of the show, its Japanese origins, the differences in characters, some of the exclusive toys and what have you. Masterforce was a lot more focused - for episode 1, I talking about the origin of the show and Pretenders, the next was about the new characters created for the series, Japanese-exclusive toys and characters like Black Zarak and Overlord, and the "Big Book of Masterforce" secrets, and the last one just covered "everything else" about the series that I had notes about that I hadn't discussed elsewhere, chiefly Godmasters and HM Jrs. On Victory, the first episode was again, about the origin of the show and how it was so different from what was going on in the west, talked about the Dinoforce, Star Saber and Deathsaurus... the second episode was about the Breastforce and Greatshot and assorted random tidbits, and then the final episode was whatever scraps were left to talk about for Victory (not much), and a quickly overview of everything that came after Victory (because I didn't know at the time I'd be doing Zone, so I wanted to cover everything and have the commentaries be a complete overview of Japanese G1). The Zone commentary is... just basic Zone stuff. Where it came from, what the deal is, who the characters are, and what happened in TV Magazine afterwards. - Chris McFeely 00:25, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
- The "Big Book of Masterforce" secrets? What kind of secrets? Sabrblade 00:42, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
- It's not a book, it's a special episode.
- (I have a subbed AVI from the fansubs that were done a couple years ago if anyone wants to see it. I suspect it's in the .torrent packs still running around.) -Derik 01:27, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
- The "Big Book of Masterforce" secrets? What kind of secrets? Sabrblade 00:42, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
- I knew it wasn't really a book, I just called it that because you did. Also, I hear you did the commentary on Scramble City for the Movie DVD. Could you describe that one too? Sabrblade 02:47, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
- Oh, I forgot to answer this. Scramble City commentary just had some basic stuff on there, about the origins on the OVA, Transformers series in Japan (as this was an independant thing from the Takara Collection sets, I may have repeated some info), where the Scramble City toys came from, how they worked, an' suchlike. - Chris McFeely 21:21, 7 July 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks man. Oh, btw. Turns out I will get to hear your HM/MF/V/Z commentaries. My dad ordered the Boxed set from Ebay as a late birthday gift for me. I can't wait to hear all that you said. Though, I still won't be able to hear the Scramble City stuff cuz I see no reason to buy the UK movie DVD since I have the Sony DVD. Still thanks again. Sabrblade 21:38, 7 July 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Unprotecting Animated pages
Hey Chris, you seem to be the only admin immediately around, so I was wondering if you could go through this list and unprotect all the Animated stuff, now that "A Bridge Too Close" has aired in North America. Much obliged... - Jackpot 18:53, 7 July 2008 (UTC)
- Sorted! - Chris McFeely 19:37, 7 July 2008 (UTC)
