The name or term Windrazor refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Windrazor (disambiguation).

Windrazor is one of the five Air Team robots who make up the legendary super robot Superion Maximus. A warrior who remembered the first age of Cybertron, and a member in two senses of the Autobot Air Team, he must have seen a lot. What stories he could have told, given the chance, but he wasn't. He just got blown up real good.

Japanese name: Firebolt

Fiction

Energon cartoon continuity

Windrazor was almost always shown only as a limb to Superion Maximus. When Maximus needed to travel faster than his robot mode could fly, he would occasionally split up into his five component jets, but Windzaror and the other limbs were never shown to transform out of jet mode or act as individuals. Wishes The team also appeared as separate jets in a video game Hot Shot was playing. Distribution

Later, he was blown up to death in a fight with Bruticus Maximus. Spark

He'd rather be red than dead, but now he's that too.

Windrazor shares a mold with his teammate Treadshot, transforming into a red and grey fighter jet based on the F-22 Raptor. He can also form a leg or arm to any Energon-series "Powerlinx Combiner" super robot, though his nominal placement is as the left leg to Superion Maximus. He comes with two double-barreled guns and a connector piece, which can form hand-held weapons as well as become a footplate or "hand" for his combined mode, plus a blue "super energon" Autobot-style energon chip.
  • Superion (Multi-pack, 2004)
    • Japanese ID number: SC-26
    • Accessories: 2 dual-barrel cannons, connector piece, Autobot-type energon star
In Japan, Windrazor (aka "Firebolt") was only made available as part of a complete Superion gift set. The two version are largely identical, the main difference being that the Takara release uses a darker clear-blue for the "energon" bits than the Hasbro version.
